Maybe
If I just stay in bed all day
The world
Will stay outside my door.

I'll leave the curtains closed
leave the sunshine out
never even open the front door.
I'll drink my coffee in bed.
And I've got enough food in the fridge
To last at least a few more days.

I could just lie here all day
and watch
Oprah and Phil
And Sally and Jane 
And Maury and Joan
And Geraldo and Montel

and watch other people
deal with their problems
instead of doing something
about my own.
